After 50 years what happens? The male hormone (testosterone) levels drop greatly. So we experience low energies and low libido. Lots of men experience this physiological shift but rarely do they share this. Midlife crises is highly correlated with this stage of life.
So the basic idea is to promote health by enhancing fitness, good diet, regular medical checkups.

Fitness
To moderate workout of 40min 4 – 5 days/week.
Diet:
Vegetable
Increase your vegetable intake. Take lots carrots, cucumbers, eggplant, spinach, terere, managu, cauliflower etc.
Protein
Take both animal and plant proteins, meat small portion abt 80 grams/ day. Starch – greatly reduce ugali, rice? Mukimo, chapati, githeri etc .
Fruits
Take quality fruits eg apples, avocados, pawpaw, melons . Reduce fruits with lots of simple sugar ie mangoes, pineapples.

After age 50, you need a thorough comprehensive checkup. These consist compressive medical check up. Ask your Doctor to order for you.
